The Labor Day weekend was a busy weekend for the CCI Decoration Team ! Those who attended last year's Durga Puja would remember that we had to go in for a different decoration approach with the constraints that were imposed by our venue. This year though, with a return to a regular school setup, we are back to our original decoration theme. These pieces with intricate carvings and exquisite paintings were painstakingly put together by a dedicated group of volunteers over many hours a few years back and to this day maintain their original luster and construction.
Our Decoration Team got together over the weekend to spend a few hours in inspecting the pieces, repairing a few minor damages and assembling all of the pieces successfully in the backyard of one of our members. Everything looks good and the team is confident to get this up and assembled at the venue in no more than a couple of hours on Friday, 7th October.
If you want to help out with decoration on the day of the event, please let us know. If you are yet to register, please do so at the earliest - the early-bird rates expire in about a weeks' time !
