Aside from Cincinnati's only, annual Durga Puja - our flagship event - there are several other events that are organized through the year to provide a myriad of experiences to our children, our visiting parents, our community and the community at large.

While the various Pujas are a great way to expose our children to our age-old practices and rituals (remember "jayo jayo devi chorachoro sharey, kunchojogo shobhito muktaahaarey" ?),  they also provide an excellent platform to showcase our rich culture and traditions. Then there is Temple Lunch where volunteers from the organization cook and serve afternoon lunch to all visitors to the Hindu Temple of Greater Cincinnati. Barsho Boron is an attempt to usher in the Bengali New Year by remembering two great poets of all times - Robi Thakur and Kazi Nazrul - that engages all bengalis - Purbo O Paschim - residing in the area. Summer is also the time when many of our parents visit us and they enjoy the fun & frolic at our Summer Picnic. And what better way to sensitize our children to our tradition of caring for our elders, than by arranging Sparsha - a cultural program planned and executed by our children at one of the Senior Living Complexes in the area!
