Saraswati Puja 2016

​We will be celebrating Saraswati Puja on Saturday, 13th February between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm at the Terwilliger Lodge, Dulle park, Cincinnati , OH 45242 (near Bethesda North Hospital).

As part of CCI's community outreach, we will conduct a food & paper products collection drive for the Cincinnati based “Our Daily Bread”. Please visit their website at www.odb.org for more information about the organization. They have requested us for the following items.
  • Paper napkins, towels, toilet paper.
  • Sugar/sweetener, coffee creamer.
  • Mayo/salad dressing, vinegar, tomato sauce.
  • Canned vegetables. 
We humbly request our members to donate some of these items. It will be great if our children can be involved in this process. We will collect all the donations at the venue.

Puja Schedule:
 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM - Preparation time.
 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Pujo Ceremony
 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM - Pushpanjali.
 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Prasad Distribution & Lunch
 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Children's drawing / Creative writing / Cultural program  (please bring your own drawing / painting boxes / musical instruments)
 1:00 - 2:00 PM - GBM
Participation Fee:
 $30 Per Family (Member)
 $40 per Family (Non-Member)
 $15 for Individual (Member)
 $20 for Individual (Non-Member)

Lunch:
Khichuri, Papad, Mixed Veg, Chatni and Payesh. Khichuri, Papad and Mixed Veg will be catered and we are requesting volunteers to make Payesh and Chatni. Expenses will be reimbursed supported by receipts. Please find the link to update volunteering for food in our Members Corner.
