You might not be a member of CCI .. yet, or this might be your first time at Cincinnati Durga Puja - regardless, you can get involved in the many volunteering opportunities that exist during the 3-day event. You will end up making good friends while enjoying the experience of being more intimately involved in the event planning & execution.
So, if you have been the gamchha-bendhe-khadyo-poribeshon type, sign up with the Food Team (and I am told you can savor an extra bite or two inside the kitchen) or if you are the truck-er-opor-mathai-fetti-diye-thakur-ana type, you can sign up for the Setup/Cleanup Team. There are many such opportunities that you can browse through here and let us know.
Remember, this is your pujo, our pujo, amader parar pujo ... and we want everyone who is even a bit interested, to be actively involved as a true participant and not just as a visitor. Just like you did back home for your parar pujo :-)
